The Storekeeper’s Boutique Accommodation is a beautifully appointed 1840s sandstone cottage with a contemporary edge. Located next to Buckland’s original General Store, the cottage was the shopkeeper’s residence. The Storekeeper’s is situated in the sleepy main street of Buckland, with the Buckland Inn only a few doors away in Kent Street.
The Storekeeper’s is a fully self-contained cottage. The cottage has two elegant queen size bedrooms and fully equipped kitchen with gourmet mini bar, breakfast provisions, Nespresso coffee pod machine and gourmet pre-prepared meals on hand. The study is well stocked with books, DVDs and games. You will enjoy relaxing by the wood fire or out on the lawn at the end of the day with a glass of our best local East Coast wine.
You will enjoy full private access to the property and surrounding garden and courtyard areas. The courtyard contains an outdoor setting, deck chairs and a gas BBQ for your use.
Our accommodation is the perfect base for exploring Tasmania’s East Coast, Maria Island National Park, Port Arthur, Richmond and Hobart. All are within an hours drive from Buckland.
You are also invited to visit Twamley Farm free of charge and walk, hike or mountain bike. Twamley Farm is our family’s working farm with a range of activities for you to enjoy. Grab one of our mountain bikes, walking packs, gourmet picnics and explore Twamley Farm’s many bush trails.
